We are updating the site for 2008; this will
take some time. E-mail us if you have any questions.
When you contact us,
please be sure to set your e-mail options
for messages from us to be sent to your inbox
so they won't end up in your bulk mail. We do not spam.
We try to send only one e-mail update per year,
and the update only goes to those who have contacted us.
That is all that you will get from us unless we hear from you.
There
is no minimum order required.
You may order as many or as few of each variety
as you want.
All the plants we offer are
grown naturally
using only organic fertilizers and no chemical pesticides. Our plants
are guaranteed to arrive in good condition, true-to-name, ready to grow
in your garden.
PREMIUM
SHIPPING: Plants
are
well established in 2½" square pots that are 3½" deep to
provide our customers with larger, healthier plants. We carefully package each
plant, in its pot,
individually to keep it from shifting during shipping and to help it
arrive safely through the mail. Then it is
placed in a sturdy outer cardboard shipping container.
We will ship plants until early
June. U.S.
mainland only; no PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
We request that you order early.
Because
of the lack of space and
our large selection, our supply of each variety is very limited. List
some acceptable substitutions if possible.
If
ordering by mail, please allow one week for us to receive your order.
All plants are $2.00 each
plus shipping unless otherwise noted.
Premium Shipping
charges for plants to be shipped by Priority Mail are listed below.
These charges help cover postage and our cost of shipping supplies.
1-6
plants $13.00
7-12 plants $14.50
13-18 plants $18.50
19-24 plants $23.50
25-30 plants $30.50
31-36 plants $34.50
37-42 plants $35.50
43-50 plants $39.50
50+ plants $.69 each + $2.00
Although no minimum order is required, you get the best value for your
shipping dollar when
your total number of plants
is a multiple of
six.
Ordering early
improves your chances of delivery.
We
ship every Monday or Tuesday from March 26 thru June11. Plants
arrive on or before Friday of the ship week.
The January 2007 ice storm has affected our schedule. The varieties
most affected
are Heirloom Eggplants and Heirloom Peppers. Our shipping season may
well be delayed by two weeks or perhaps longer in some cases. We now
doubt we'll be shipping many plants before April 15.
We cannot ship plants to AK, AZ, CA (if April or later), HI, ID, NV,
OR, WA, or WY.
Not all plants are available for
all ship dates. We ask that you please contact us before sending your
payment, to make sure that the plants you want will be available on
your chosen ship date.
We
accept orders by U.S. mail (allowing one week for us to
receive them), or by e-mail. We are a small family-operated business,
but
we
try very hard to respond within 24 hours. We send confirmations by
e-mail on all orders, but we usually do not confirm orders received by
regular mail. Listing a few acceptable substitutes is always useful.
The most reliable order fulfilment can be obtained by allowing
us two weeks to locate, confirm, and condition your plants.
We try to keep our website updated, but this
may be done only once or twice per week during the busiest part
of the season. We usually send confirmations by e-mail only; regular
mail orders should include an e-mail address if confirmation is
desired.
We accept
payment in U.S. funds with check, money order, or
PayPal. We ask you to please be sure to e-mail
us to make sure that the plants you want are still available
before sending your payment, no matter which payment method you choose.

To
order by mail, write your order on a piece of paper, or print out the
order form and write in your order. We ask you to please
be sure to include your desired week of shipping and
to mail your order with your check or money order, unless paying
with PayPal, to the address on the order
form.
